Why Zambia
Zambia loses an estimated 250,000–300,000 hectares of forest annually — one of the highest deforestation rates on the continent. This creates an enormous opportunity for verified, high-impact reforestation that earns internationally recognised carbon credits.
The country's diverse climate zones support a wide range of indigenous species — from the semi-arid Baobab heartlands of Southern Province to the miombo woodland corridors of the Copperbelt and Northern Province — giving corporate partners the ability to plant across multiple ecosystems and species types.
