In January 2023, Divergent Innovation Foundation (DIF) launched a pilot project to give away 750 tamarind seedlings for free. The project was a success, with all of the seedlings being claimed within a few weeks.

This enthusiastic response has continued to spur us on toward even enabling more farmers gain from the numerous benefits of the tamarind tree.
