Our mission is to improve the lives of people in Zambia by planting baobab and tamarind seedlings across the country through small scale farmers. Baobab and tamarind trees are important for the environment and the economy. Here are some of the benefits of planting baobab and tamarind trees: They provide food and shelter for wildlife. They help to prevent soil erosion. They can be used to make a variety of products, including food, medicine, and building materials. They can help to improve the livelihoods of small scale farmers.
DIF is currently seeking funders to help ensure the continuity of its tamarind seedling program. The foundation believes that tamarind trees have the potential to make a significant contribution to the fight against hunger and poverty. With the help of funders, DIF can continue to give away tamarind seedlings and help to make this valuable tree more accessible to people around the world.
